Uyghur Foundation is an Uyghur-led nonprofit organization (501c3 tax-exempt) headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA.
Our Mission is to provide humanitarian and financial aid for Uyghurs in need and other programs help Uyghurs to preserve their unique identities and culture.
About Uyghur
Uyghurs are an ethnically, culturally, and linguistically-distinct Turkic group indigenous to East Turkistan, a region encompassing 642,000 square miles in the present-day Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China.
OUR PROGRAMS
Due to the unprecedented incarceration of Uyghurs in Nazi-style concentration camps by Chinese authorities, an increasing number of displaced Uyghur orphan children and financially struggling families need humanitarian aid around the world, especially in great numbers within Turkey. Hence we are currently primarily focused on these three programs with our partners in Turkey.
